These plano-convex lenses are manufactured CVD grown Zinc Selenide. They have a low absorption in the infra-red. Plano/Convex-Spherical lenses have a positive focal length and converges the incident light. This type lens forms both real and virtual images. Real image-focused, Virtual Image-magnified. Positive focusing Zinc Selenide lenses are perfect for thermal imaging and Carbon Dioxide laser focusing applications.
